Himalayan Wander Walkers operates under the following Terms & Conditions which contain all the important information essential for you to read carefully, understand them, and once agreed will be obliged to all clients booking their trip from Himalayan Wander Walkers.

Responsibility
We reserve all the rights to refuse the continuation in providing our services to clients who willingly cause significant inconvenience or annoyance to other clients or deliberately disturbs the trip. We shall not be liable and accountable for any loss or damage to luggage or personal possessions, or any major losses resulting therefrom. The client will be fully responsible for any additional cost if you are injured or fall ill, all evacuation, doctors' fees, hospital expenses, and repatriation costs. We do provide assistance with emergency and quick evacuation. Likewise, clients are responsible to have their valid passport, visa, and any equipment that is required as per the tours' demand. We will not be responsible for failure in obtaining a visa for any reason but we do co-operate to find possible solutions to the particular problem.

Guides representing Himalayan Wander Walkers will reserve all authority over the course of the trip. If a client fails to comply with important instructions of the guide or if clients commit any unlawful act, they are compelled to leave the tour. No refund will be made in such cases.

Insurance Policy
When booking any trip with Himalayan Wander Walkers, the client must have a valid insurance policy that covers the following:

  • Personal accident and medical treatment
  • Emergency evacuation (e.g. helicopter rescue)

In general, Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover any injury, medical expenses, death, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air, ambulance, and adequate cover for baggage. This is for your own safety and peace of mind in case of illness or an accident.

Delays and Itinerary Changes
The client specifically agrees that Himalayan Wander Walkers will not be held responsible for any delays or changes in itineraries caused by an act of omission or due to any natural causes (e.g. weather conditions). The client should be able to understand such situations might occur and that we will not be able to inform them of each possible problem in advance. The itinerary will adhere to as far as possible but the client understands they are only a guideline. The company or trek staff may make omissions or alterations to the itinerary, highlights, and excursions as they deem it necessary especially in the interest of safety.

Data Protection
In order to process the booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements, we need to collect certain personal details. These will include, where applicable, your name and address, credit/debit card or other payment details and special requirements such as those relating to any medical condition, which may affect the chosen trek/trip arrangements, and any dietary restrictions, which may disclose your religious beliefs. This information may provide to public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law. You agree that the information you provide to us is accurate and that we use all necessary and relevant information, which we hold for administering your trek/trip. We shall not subject any personal data about you to any processing except as may be required for the purposes of the trek/trip and your data shall not be transferred to any third party except as may be necessary for the purposes of the trek/trip.

Payment
An advance deposit according to the request in Payment info, Himalayan Wander Walkers ask for 30% of total trip cost must be deposited at the time of booking the trip to uphold the reservation and cover any initial expenses. 100 Percents of domestic flight fee as a deposit when you book the tour, we sometimes ask for more than 30% if you book the trip urgently or your trip is considered an unusual case. The due amount of the trip must be clear at the time of the arrival day. After signing the contract, you will have a free opportunity to modify the contract. Payment for your trip can be made in three ways.
1. Online payment
2. Bank Transfer
3. Cash Payment

Cancellation Policy
If clients need to cancel their travel plans after confirming the reservation, any advances paid will not be refunded. This is to cover operational costs, which unrecovered expenses. Himalayan Wander Walkers must be informed of cancellations (for what-so-ever reason) as soon as possible to minimize loss. If cancellation is made within less than two weeks of the starting date of the trip, the client will be subject to additional charges up to 50% (maximum) of the overall trip cost.

If you are compelled to cancel the confirmed tour by genuine circumstances and if you wish to postpone or transfer, your booking to another person provided they meet all the requirements relating to that tour. You must provide specific and valid proof of why you are unable to travel at the time you change your booking. A fee of $100.00USD per person will be charged for postponing or transferring of the tour no less than two weeks prior to trip departure. No options kept available 14 days before trip departure.

Unexpected Events
Delays because of difficult weather conditions and sometimes operational as well as technical complications that generally happen in remote areas such as Everest, Jomsom, Annapurna, Dolpa, Jumla, and Simikot regions can occur. Flights are often subject to delays and cancellations. Hence, Clients are advised to consider extra time and some budget flexibility (in case a longer hotel stay is required) for such circumstances. In case of flight cancellations or re-routing at the end of a trek or tour, the client is responsible to cover additional charges relating to accommodation, food, guides, and porters. We try our best to minimize the possibility of such situations and any cost related to it.

Assumption of Risk
The client should be aware of the risky nature of trips. Risks include, (not necessarily limited to) accidents or illness in remote places that lack medical facilities, altitude-related problems, and natural forces. The clients agree to assume and understand all risks associated with the journey.  There is no liability and obligations will be attached to the company or its employees, outfitters, agents or to any member of the tour group in respect to death, personal injury, illness or delay of a client, or for any loss or damage to the personal possessions of the client during the course of the trip.

Health & Fitness
As per the policy of Nepal tours and treks, the client should satisfy the requirements of a level of fitness. It’s the client’s responsibility to notify Himalayan Wander Walkers of any pre-existing medical condition and/or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of required medical attention that may affect your ability to travel.

Children
A legal guardian must accompany all travelers who are under the age of sixteen. If you have any questions regarding age and suitability, please feel free to contact us for further information.

Your Journey
We do our best to ensure a comfortable trip but clients need to understand that Nepal is a mountainous country and consists of often only basic and limited facilities. Hence, patience, enthusiasm, and proper preparation are necessary before every journey. All services will provide as per our agreement at the time of booking.

Price Fluctuations
Domestic flight fares can change due to fuel price fluctuations and other external causes. Those can have an influence on the final trip price.

We can assure you that we perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey a pleasant and memorable one. However, the entire program in Nepal is conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of its laws and policies.

NOTE: (The Client is strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance when making the booking.)

Updating of Terms & Conditions: 
Himalayan Wander Walkers reserves the right to update and amend above terms and conditions at any time. It is the responsibility of the Client to keep updated with any changes. The present terms and conditions will always be found on our website.
