This route blends the best of two iconic trails, starting with the short yet breathtaking Poon Hill trek and continuing deeper into the majestic Annapurna Sanctuary, reaching Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m).

Ghorepani Poonhill and the ABC Trek route
This 13-day trek combines two of Nepal's most iconic routes: Poonhill and Annapurna Base Camp. Begin in Kathmandu before heading to Pokhara, a scenic lakeside city. From Birethanti, trek to Ulleri and continue to Ghorepani, a charming Gurung village. On Day 5, hike to Poonhill (3,210m) at sunrise for breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The journey continues through lush rhododendron forests and charming villages like Tadapani and Chhomrong, the gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary, ascending steadily to Annapurna Base Camp (4,120m). The descent passes through Bamboo and the natural hot springs of Jhinu Danda, ending with a relaxing night in Pokhara.
