Many trekkers who are physically fit and love adventuring off-the-beaten-path choose this trek. This trek will take you through the amazing landscapes of eastern Nepal, where mind-blowing mountain vistas, deep valleys, and lush forests create a breathtaking backdrop.

The Drohmo Ri, a less traveled peak, is one of the best viewpoints that presents unparalleled views of the Kanchenjunga massif while allowing trekkers to experience the serene tranquility of the Himalayan wilderness. Drohmo Ri is mostly confused with Drohmo Peak. The height of Drohmo Ri is 6100 meters, and Drohmo Peak is 6881 meters. To submit to Drohmo Peak (6881 m), you must have a climbing permit, but Drohmo Ri (6100 m) doesn’t need a climbing permit.

The trek to Drohmo Ri and Kanchenjunga Circuit adds an exhilarating challenge to this expedition, drawing trekkers to navigate challenging terrains and high-altitude trails. With its majestic viewpoints and serene atmosphere, the summit of Drohmo Ri becomes a rewarding highlight of this adventure. Whether you seek the thrill of adventure or the peace of the mountains, the Kanchenjunga and Drohmo Ri trek promises a journey filled with unforgettable experiences and stunning memories.

This trek is a bit different from our normal Kanchenjunga Circuit trek.  This trek requires more time than the KCT. If you want to customize this trek itinerary according to your time availability, please inquire. Our team at Himalayan Wander Walkers will create a perfect itinerary for you.
