Kanchenjunga Circuit with Drohmo Ri Trek offer an opportunity to experienced trekking above 6000 meters to witness the great views of surrounding snowy peaks of Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. Many trekkers who are physically fit and love adventuring to off-the-beaten-path choose this trek. This trek will takes you through the amazing landscapes of eastern Nepal, where mind-blowing mountain vistas, deep valleys, and lush forests create a breathtaking backdrop. 

The Drohmo Ri, a less traveled peak is one of the best view point that presents unparalleled views of the Kanchenjunga massif while allowing trekkers to experience the serene tranquility of the Himalayan wilderness. Drohmo Ri is mostly confused with Drohmo peak. The height of Drohmo Ri is 6100 meters and Drohmo Peak is 6881 Meters. To submit Drohmo Peak (6881m) you must have climbing permit but Drohmo Ri (6100m) doesn’t need climbing Permit.

Day 1

Arrival To Kathmandu (1300 M)

Day 2

Fly to Bhadrapur and Drive to Illam(1627m).3-4 hours

Day 3

Drive from Illam to Sekhatum (1,509m) via Taplejung, 7-8 hours

Day 4

Sekhathum to Amjilosa (2,498m), 7 hours

Day 5

Amjilosa to Gyabla (2,730m) 4-5 hours

Day 6

Gyabla to Ghunsa (3,595m) 6-7 hours

Day 7

Acclimatization day at Ghunsa

Day 8

Ghunsa to Kambachen (4,145m), 5-6 hours

Day 9

Kambachen to Lhonak (4,800m) 5-6 hours

Day 10

Lhonak to Pang Pema (5,143m) 3 hours

Day 11

Summit to Drohmo Ri (6100m) Return to Lhonak

Day 12

Trek to Ghunsa (3,595m) 6-7 hours

Day 13

Ghunsa to Sele Le (4,290m) 5-6 hours

Sele Le to Cheram (3,868m) 5-6 hours

Cheram to Ramche and afternoon side trek to Oktong, Yalung Base Camp

Yamphudin to Happukhola (1400m)-7 to 8 hours

Drive Early in the Morning Hapukhola to Bhadrapur – 8 to 9 Hours

Fly to Kathmandu – 35 to 40 minutes and Rest at hotel

Sightseeing and shopping in Kathmandu

Departure to Home Country

Arrivals and departure transport by car (We will collect you from the Kathmandu international airport) and transfer to Hotel.
3 nights’ accommodation (2 persons per room) in Kathmandu in a 3* standard Hotel with breakfast.
Kathmandu - Bhadrapur & Bhadrapur – Kathmandu flight ticket.

Internet, electricity, and phone connections in the Kanchenjunga area are limited and not widely available. While some lodges and tea houses may have electricity and phone connections, the quality of the service may not be reliable or consistent. Click here for Detail information.

The sooner you book your trip, the sooner we can start arranging your services. If you are planning your trip in the peak season, ideally, you should book 3 or 4 months in advance as hotel rooms and flight bookings are limited. While we accept bookings as late as 30-60 days before the trip according to our terms and conditions, we encourage you to book as early as possible to allow us time to make the best bookings possible for you. Drohmo Ri climbing start from the Pang Pema (North Base Camp) where you do not need any climbing gears but the trail is steep up climb. If you have good trekking gears then no need additional equipments. We recommend to bring trekking poles for Drohmo Ri. It will be really helpful when you decent from the summit to North Base Camp.
