Kanchenjunga Circuit with Drohmo Ri Trek offers an opportunity to experience trekking above 6000 meters to witness the great views of the surrounding snowy peaks of Kanchenjunga, the third-highest mountain in the world. Many trekkers who are physically fit and love adventuring off-the-beaten-path choose this trek. This trek will take you through the amazing landscapes of eastern Nepal, where mind-blowing mountain vistas, deep valleys, and lush forests create a breathtaking backdrop.
The Drohmo Ri, a less traveled peak, is one of the best viewpoints that presents unparalleled views of the Kanchenjunga massif while allowing trekkers to experience the serene tranquility of the Himalayan wilderness. Drohmo Ri is mostly confused with Drohmo Peak. The height of Drohmo Ri is 6100 meters, and Drohmo Peak is 6881 meters. To submit Drohmo Peak (6881 m), you must have a climbing permit, but Drohmo Ri (6100 m) doesn’t need a climbing permit.

Arrivals and departure transport by car (We will collect you from the Kathmandu international airport) and transfer to Hotel.
3 nights’ accommodation (2 persons per room) in Kathmandu in a 3* standard Hotel with breakfast.

Altitude sickness is a common concern during the trek, especially at the Drohmo RI, as you’ll reach elevations above 6,100 meters (Drohmo Ri). To help with acclimatization, the itinerary includes rest days in many places, including Gunsa (3595). Staying hydrated, eating well, and ascending gradually are the best ways to prevent altitude sickness. If you experience symptoms like dizziness or headaches, inform your guide immediately so they can follow the necessary protocols.
Yes, you need to have proper trekking gear and equipment for your comfortable trek. While packing for the Kanchenjunga Circuit trek and Drohmo Ri, you'll need sturdy trekking shoes, warm clothing, a sleeping bag, water bottles, sunscreen, a hat, energy snacks, and a small first-aid kit.
